Tapping Upgrade – Going to the Next Level with EFT

Oftentimes, after achieving some initial success with EFT, people find themselves feeling stuck or plateauing at a certain level.  One of the things that gets in the way may be fear of leaving lovers, peer groups, old friends and family behind, and of losing love and acceptance in the process.  In this script, you will be tapping on and clearing some of those fears so you can open to and embrace the wondrous possibilities that await you when you start believing change is possible.

Overview

This is an intermediate to advanced level script that assumes you already have some experience Tapping and that you know where the Tapping Points are located on your body. This script is designed to help dissolve any remaining blocks that are preventing you from going to the next level with EFT.

 

Setup

Carve out some time for yourself in a quiet place with no interruptions (phone & all screens off; door closed, etc.). Have a pen and paper ready.

Think of this issue as it pertains to you, and try to be as specific as possible about what aspects you want to tap on. Jot it down.  Check in with some of the feelings and thoughts that come up for you around this, and write those down. The following script is only a guideline.  Feel free to add to it or change it to fit your experience more perfectly.

Tapping Script for Upgrading / Going to

the Next Level

Close your eyes for a moment, and check in with yourself to see if part of you is afraid of going to the next level with EFT. Is any part of you afraid of what might happen to your relationships if you shifted your patterns? Write down the number which represents the level of fear or “stuckness” you feel.

 

Massaging the sore spot. Note: You will do this once for the setup, and then you will be tapping on the other points for the next rounds. 

 

Even though I’m afraid of outshining my friends and family, I’m open to loving and accepting myself anyway.

Round 1

Eyebrow: This fear of leaving them behind,

Temple: That my growth might be threatening to them

Cheekbone: I still love and accept myself!

(BREATHE)

Under Nose: It’s possible that I could still feel connected to my family and friends

Under Lips: Even if I go beyond what they’ve been able to achieve

(BREATHE)

Under Collarbone: Even though I’m afraid they’ll be alienated by this

Sternum: I still love and respect myself.

 

(BREATHE)

Front of Ribs: This fear of losing their love and acceptance

Side of Ribs: I’m open to releasing this fear…

(BREATHE)

Inside of Wrist: Even if they can’t relate to me or feel I have change

Thumb: It’s possible they can still feel my love.

(BREATHE)

Index Finger: It’s possible that deep down, they only want to see me happy and successful

Middle Finger: I’m open to inspiring my friends and family!

(BREATHE)

Outside of Fourth Finger: Even though I’m afraid,

I am really afraid to be in my full splendor

Little Finger: It’s possible I can start allowing myself to connect to my full potential.

(BREATHE)

Side of Hand: I’m allowed to give my gifts and still be connected to my loved ones.

Head: I am here to be radiantly beautiful

And to bring wisdom and love!

(BREATHE)

Check in with your fear of going to the next level, and see whether the intensity has increased or decreased.  If the charge has not decreased significantly, repeat round 1 several more times before proceeding to round 2.

 

Round 2

Eyebrow: Even though part of me really wants to shine and be noticed

Temple: And part of me is terrified of the attention

Cheekbone: I deeply love and respect myself.

(BREATHE)

Under Nose: This fear of being seen…

Under Lips: I love and respect myself anyway.

(BREATHE)

Under Collarbone: I have allowed myself to get lost in the background

Sternum: I’m open to forgiving myself for melting into the background of my life

Because it’s safer…

(BREATHE)

Front of Ribs: But part of me is really tired of not getting noticed!

Side of Ribs: I’m ready to be in the foreground!

(BREATHE)

Inside of Wrist: I want to be in the forefront of my life

Thumb: And I’m open to feeling lovable exactly as I am!

(BREATHE)

Index Finger: Even though part of me has been playing small and hiding

Middle Finger: Because it felt comfortable and familiar

I’m open to letting myself shine!

(BREATHE)

Outside of Fourth Finger: This part that has been staying in my little room

Little  Finger: Watching life pass me by…

(BREATHE)

Side of Hand: I love and accept that part of me

Head: And I’m open to stepping out of my comfort zone!

(BREATHE)

Check in with your fear of stepping out of your comfort zone, and see whether the intensity has increased or decreased.  If the charge has not decreased significantly, repeat round 1 several more times before proceeding to round 3.

Round 3

Eyebrow: I forgive myself for staying safely in the background for so long

Temple: And I accept that scared part of myself completely

Cheekbone: And I’m ready for an upgrade!

(BREATHE)

Under Nose: A deep part of me really wants to be fully present now

Under Lips: Wants to give it 100% to my purpose for being alive!

(BREATHE)

Under Collarbone: Both feet in the game

Sternum: With my heart wide open

(BREATHE)

Front of Ribs: Eyes bright and shining

Side of Ribs: Standing for freedom

(BREATHE)

Inside of Wrist: I am here to _____________ [fill in your purpose here]

Thumb: I am activating my full splendor

(BREATHE)

Index Finger: I am focused and motivated!

Middle Finger: And if any doubt or distraction comes up

(BREATHE)

Outside of Fourth Finger: I can send it love and acceptance!

Little Finger: I can do this

(BREATHE)

Side of Hand: I am doing this

Head: This is happening now!

(BREATHE)

Check in with your fear of going to the next level, and see whether the intensity has increased or decreased.  If the charge has not decreased significantly, repeat round 2 several more times.

To end the session, tap all over your body and say loving, supportive statements to yourself for a few moments. Examples of this might include:

I am choosing to let my light shine!

It’s OK to feel good about myself and my life!

I am supported and loved while following my path!
