Basic Tapping- EFT Protocol

EFT blends elements of modern Psychology, neuro-science, and Chinese medicine all rolled together. As you Tap you will move bio-electric pulses through the circuits in your body.

These circuits are called meridians. These meridian circuits are the same ones that an acupuncturist uses when inserting needles. Instead of using needles, we use gentle percussive Tapping to discharge stored stress and to recharge your entire body!

Use this video to learn the basic Tapping protocol. Get familiar with how to tap so you can apply EFT regularly to what ever bothers you. Try Tapping about anything and EVERYTHING that gets in your way.

Try Tapping to help alleviate anxiety, depression, heartbreak, money problems, emotional stress and underlying causes of health issues. Tapping even helps you release troublesome memories and limiting beliefs. 

Tapping helps you feel more peaceful, worthy and much more capable!

How To Tap: 

Step 1 – Pick your topic. What relief do you want, and on which particular issue? Tap on only one specific feeling, negative thought or memory at a time.

Step 2 Notice how you feel when you focus on this.

Step 3 Accept what comes up for you, for just a few moments.

Remember to Breathe, as you complete several rounds of Tapping for each thought or feeling. These are called aspects.

Step 4 Imagine the good feelings, and the desired positive outcomes you would like to be experiencing. Voice those new possibilities as you continue to Tap. 

Only go to Step 4, AFTER some of the old, limiting thoughts and feelings lose most of their original emotional charge. For example: on a scale of 1 to 10, if you rated your issue high at a 9, go to step 4 ( imagining new positive outcomes) when the emotional charge is down towards a 4 or less. This way your nervous system will accept the new possibilities more easily.

Step 5 Check your work. Imagine what triggers you again. Keep Tapping as you focus on any remaining memories, sensations or emotions that may still be lingering. Go through several more rounds of tapping on each aspect that comes up.  Do as many rounds as necessary, going through all the Tapping points, about the remaining aspects to bring the original issue to neutral. 

As you Tap on your points, you will be voicing some negative thoughts and feelings that relate to your specific issue (speaking out loud). You may also find certain memories flashing through your mind. That is natural and normal. Continue to feel, process and Tap, no matter what is going on in your head. 

The most important thing is to bring empathy and acceptance to what you are actually experiencing, exactly as it’s occurring for you.

Remember to bring acceptance to physical sensations as well. Bringing empathy and acceptance to your experience helps your brain and body to release it.

Remain calm – no need to worry. Admitting your negative thoughts, feelings or limiting beliefs out (loud if possible), as you are Tapping, will NOT reinforce them.

Actually, it does just the opposite. The empathy actually creates a release of protein bonds that have been wiring your synapses together, creating a reactionary, limiting pattern. As negative emotions and thoughts clear, you are able to rewire your brain to accept and expect more positive outcomes. This self generated acceptance releases your negative thoughts and memories and ends their impact on your life!

As you bring empathy to meet your feelings, you will find that you CAN clean up many years worth of emotional debris very quickly.

Think of Tapping as a sweet practice of EMOTIONAL HYGIENE.
